I lived in the city of Rome for almost two years, where I finished my degree in Fashion Design. So i know the city quite well. My relation with it is a little love&hate but still, i think nowadays love is what it remains. The movie
ROMA by Federico Fellini can be a little difficult if you haven't lived there i wonder, because it is a plotless film that portraits the city with a succession of typical Roman scenes: the streets, the people, the restaurants, the music... it is a delightful movie though, very very funny, but as i said before, i watched it as a
Roman-lived, so i dont know what it might be like watching it if you don't
actually know what the movie is talking about.
In any case, for fashion lovers, at the end of the movie there is a hilarious scene that you can't miss: a runway fashion show featuring clerical garb with a papal audience, a catwalk that has nothing to envy to the ones of Jhon Galliano and the likes: noun with outrageous hats, priests in roller-skates, Pope attires with flashing lights.. then i wonder... actually Galliano should pay homage to a show like this!
